Gerakan, a component of the Barisan Nasional (BN), has called for stern action against Bukit Bendera Umno division head Datuk Ahmad Ismail over his recent “seditious” remarks on the Chinese community.
During a ceramah in Permatang Pauh on Aug 25, Ahmad was alleged to have said the Chinese were mere squatters or temporary residents of the nation and therefore, it was impossible to achieve equal rights amongst races in the country.
KETUA Umno bahagian Bukit Bendera, Datuk Ahmad Ismail memberitahu Malaysiakini bahawa beliau tidak akan memohon maaf walaupun Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak telah berbuat demikian.Sebaliknya, kata Ahmad, beliau tidak melakukan sebarang kesalahan.

he was a good leader, a respectful and honourable man.he was best known among Asia watchers as Malaysia heir-apparent to Mahathir Mohamad, the country long-standing prime minister who retired in 2003.his power is even threatening the king and he works very hard for the path to the throne.
however, fell from grace in 1998, five years after being appointed deputy prime minister, were trumped-up charges of corruption and sodomy. he lost everything in a night.
10 years later,
after serving in the jail for 6 years and 4 years inability to be active in politics, he is back. he is back for the things that taken from him. now he standing in the parliament and take a oath to become a part of the parliament. could he makes his way to become a prime minister. who knows?
